In my 1st year fielding a team at Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School, we had success both in the Philadelphia Scholastic Chess League and at the Pa State Chess Championships. We finished 6-3 in the Philly league, earning a playoff birth and we won the 4th place trophy in our division at States.
